I’ve spoken at congresses in Graz and Berlin. The audience gets a 45-minute presentation on experience storytelling, with a focus on using memorable locations (mountains, deserts, jungles…) to anchor learnings.
I’ll be honest, the Berlin audience wasn’t that enthusiastic, but seeing as they were almost all coders and programmers it didn’t really surprise me. In Graz, on the other hand, they loved it. Especially when I whipped out the bottle of whisky at the end and promised a wee dram to anyone who was interested. That’s what experience storytelling is all about.
